Don Macpherson is an Accredited Specialist and has been working in Elder and Estates Law for more than 30 years.
Prior to starting his own firm, Brisbane Elder Law in 2018, Don was the Brisbane Managing Partner for a leading Qld Law firm, and Partner in Charge in relation to Wills, Estates and Elder Law across 3 offices state wide.
Starting Brisbane Elder Law has allowed Don to focus directly on the needs of clients, assisting and advising them during what is often the most challenging time of their lives.
“My function and focus is to help people deal with what is often the worst thing that has happened to them in their lives. As well as being given expert advice people need and are entitled to receive common sense, practical guidance and leadership in very challenging times, and that’s part of the role I see myself providing”.
Don has practised in Wills, Estates and Elder Law for more than 30 years, having been admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in 1983. He was admitted to the roll of the High Court of Australia in 1985. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society, and the Law Council of Australia. He is constantly updating his knowledge of Wills, Estates and Elder Law through Continuing Professional Development courses.
